Ansel Adams Post

Before attending private school Ansel Adams was sent to several different schools but he never seemed to fit in and was very shy. So his father and aunt tutored him at home until he was sent to private school. He taught himself to play piano when he was quite young and that became his primary profession until photography took over. In 1927 he created his first fully visualized picture. Adams had a great love for nature and spent a majority of his time in Yosemite. His first photos were shown in the Sierra Club bulletin which helped skyrocket his career. In 1930 he started to become highly recognized and his fame only grew from there. I chose this photo because the main focus seems so mangled and torn but is fits in and blends with the environment around it.

Found Panoramics

The way that the tree is bending is really awesome. I also like the other trees bending over the main ones.
I like how the photo is taken on the street level but it appears as if you are looking up at the sky through a square.

Faces Story

Meet Bertha "The Pipe" Piper. She is the commander in chief of a very successful piping company run at Newberg High school. She is an all seeing eye to her many children that help her pipe around the school campus. Her family is very important to her though and she tries to stay connected to all of them. So it's good she has a very long reach. You may not know it by looking at her at first but she has a hidden talent. She has an excellent smile! It lights up everyone's day when she decides to use her wonderful smile. That everybody is a friend of mine and her name is Bertha.
